Released on his Guise EP , ‘Manchild’ by Hadyn is the standout track for me on it. I first heard Hadyn’s Mauve EP maybe around christmas time which featured the likes of Jesse Boykins III and Fatima. Here with ‘Manchild’ Hadyn does the vocals and it’s just sublime .
If you’re about Norwich on the 14th July I highly recommend going to check out 2084 at Carnival.

Hip hop beats and summer time. This track ‘Enhale’ is by Weirddough. Sometimes I find hip hop a little too loopy and long, especially when there’s no vocals on top. But this is just right in length and production. Slight echoes of vocals appear in and out of the beats and combine with keys.

It’s been a while but I’ve decided to start Black Gold again. This time it’s going to be focused on purely music. First up is musician/ producer, Yuri Shulgin – whose since first finding about a year ago I have continued to be impressed and entertained with the music he puts out. Below is ‘Jazz’, where Shulgin plays bass, beat and keyboard with Victor Netesov on trumpet. Wonderful.
